The 41st Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, held at Rio de Janeiro’s Olympic Park, saw the conclusion of the group competition this Saturday (23). The final standings were determined by the combined scores of the routines with 5 ribbons and with 3 balls + 2 hoops.
Japan secured the world title with a total of 55.550 points, standing at the top of the podium. Brazil, fueled by strong support from the home crowd, delivered a consistent performance that earned the silver medal with 55.250 points, reaffirming its place among the leading nations in the sport. Spain captured the bronze medal with 54.750 points, following routines of high technical and artistic quality.
The group competition evaluates precision, difficulty, and execution across both apparatus events, with the final result based on the sum of the scores.
