The final results for the Individual All-Around competition at the 41st Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship, in Rio de Janeiro, have been released today (22). The event brought together the world’s best gymnasts, who performed across the four apparatuses: Hoop, Ball, Clubs, and Ribbon.

• Hoop: This routine demands precision in handling the apparatus, which must spin, leap, and slide in harmony with the body’s movements.
• Ball: This highlights fluidity and control, with movements that combine throws, rolls, and balances.
• Clubs: This requires exceptional coordination to simultaneously handle the two apparatuses with swings, taps, and tosses.
• Ribbon: This emphasizes artistic expression, with continuous designs in the air that follow jumps and turns.

The world champion is Germany’s Darja Varfolomeev, who earned a total of 121.900 points after consistent performances across all four disciplines.
